Dr. Ronen Sosnik is Head of the BCI Lab and Bioengineering Track, and a Senior Lecturer at HIT’s Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, also lecturing at the Biomedical Engineering Dept. of Tel Aviv University. Dr. Sosnik’s fields of specialization include: BCIs, neuro-prosthetics, electrophysiology (ECoG, EEG, extracellular recordings), fMRI and fNIRS brain imaging technologies, and machine learning. He holds MSc and PhD degrees in neurobiology from the Weizmann Institute and conducted his postdoctoral research at the Brain Research Center of Bar Ilan University. He developed the award-winning course ‘Introduction to Neuro-prosthetics’, which he teaches at both HIT and TAU.
