Dr. Amir Handelman is the Principal Investigator and Head of the AI, Optics and BioMed Research Lab at HIT’s Faculty of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and an expert consultant in machine learning, optics, and computer vision. He holds BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and is a Senior Member in IEEE. Before joining HIT in 2014 he was employed at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Volume-Elements Ltd., and KLA-Tencor.
